A native of Baton Rouge and resident of Port Allen, Shawn passed away at her home on Thursday, April 6, 2017. She was 48. Visitation will be at St. Patrick Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 11, from 8:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am celebrated by Rev. Jerry Martin. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Shawn is survived by her husband, Frank Chase; parents, Michael “Dale” Riché and Linda Riché; sons, Corey Bourgeois, Blake Chase and Christian Chase; sisters, Laura Kieren and Michelle Young; brother, Shane Riché; and grandchild, Aiden Chase. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, J.P. and Edna Jeansonne, and Richard and Leola “WoWo” Riché. Pallbearers will be Corey Bourgeois, Blake Chase, Andy Chase, Jr., Shane Riché, Robb Mott and Ron Young. Honorary pallbearers will be Christian Chase and Caleb Barrient. Shawn had a deep love for photography and her dog, Gizmo. She also loved to make jewelry. Memorial donations may be made to of Louisiana.
