Margaret graduated from Mercy Academy in NO, the University of La at Lafayette and was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, Delta Iota Chapter. For over the past 6 years, Margaret worked for the SSA assisting clients daily. She took pride in her ability to help others and enjoyed her friends, family and the City of New Orleans. Margaret is preceded in death by her Grandparents, Lee R. Miller and Mae Zengel Miller and James W. Armshaw and Maxine C. Armshaw. Margaret is survived by her parents, Lee R. Miller, Jr. and Judith A. Miller of Baton Rouge La. as well as Mary M. Heider(Thomas), Cathy M. She is also survived by her aunts, uncles, cousins and friends in New Orleans, Lafayette and Baton Rouge. Margaret’s journey with cancer began in 2010. She never viewed it as a battle but rather an inconvenience at times. Margaret was graciously cared for by our parents until her death. We will forever miss her presence, laughter and love. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, aunt and friend who worried more about others than herself. We have become better people just by having had her in our lives. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the in her name. Condolences may be left in Margaret’s name online guestbook at www.rabenhorst.com. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to her friends Suzanne Nelson Stuke, Shauna Allan Molero, Liz Dwyer and to her caregivers, Dr. Kate Castle and staff of Mary Bird Perkins, Dr. Vince Cataldo and staff of BR Cancer Center, Dr’s.
