Jacqueline Lee “Jackie” Airhart passed into heaven on May 9th, 2017. She was born January 11th, 1933 in Mobile, AL and lived in Baton Rouge for most of her life.  She was a devoted member of First Presbyterian Church serving as an elder. She enjoyed many groups with the church including the FAS Crowd and the Circle Seven. She retired as the office manager for Basil M. Lee & Company and then TWRU CPA firms after fifty three years in 2007. She was a proud graduate of Baton Rouge High School and an active member of the BRHS Alumni Association and attended LSU. She enjoyed Cajun Clickers Computer Club, Alpha Omicron Pi sorority. She served on the local and national Board of Directors of Executive Women International for more than thirty years.  In 2008, Jackie was also honored as a “Silver Magnolia” by the Women’s Council of Greater Baton Rouge.  She was married to the late Thomas F. Airhart, Sr.  for fifty-three years. She is survived by daughter Eve A. Wilson and her husband Bill Wilson, sons Thomas F. Airhart, Jr, Michael L. Airhart and his wife, Kristen, brother Basil M. “Mickey” Lee, Jr. and his wife Dennise, half-sisters Cheryl Glover and Debbie Hutto and her husband, Glenn Hutto, nieces Bonnie Cate, Kacie Glover Francois and Jami Collins, nephews Michael Lee, Dale Hutto and Morgan Glover, great nieces Olivia and Abigail Cate and great nephew Austin Lee.  She loved and adored her two grandchildren Peyton Elizabeth Airhart and Parker Curtis Airhart. She is preceded in death by husband, Thomas F. Airhart, Sr, mother Claudia Lee Tisdale and father Basil M. Lee, Sr. and step-mother Ethel Lee. Visitation is Thursday, May 11th 5:00-8:00pm at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East at 11000 Florida Blvd Baton Rouge. Visitation at First Presbyterian Church 763 North Blvd Baton Rouge at 10:00am Friday, May 12th, Memorial service begins at 11:00am, conducted by Pastor Gerrit Dawson and Pastor Whitney Alexander. Graveside service to follow at Roselawn Cemetery.  Pall bearers are Michael Lee, Glenn Hutto, Brent Barnett  and Edwin Johnson.  She loved her church and the First Presbyterian Church loved her. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Jaci Gaspard, Gerrit   Dawson, Whitney Alexander,  Dick Gates and the entire church family of First Presbyterian Church for their generous and caring love. The family would also like to recognize and extend thanks to the nurses and staff of Audubon Hospice for their wonderful care during this time.
