Gerald W. Musacchia

General Manager

Gerald W. Musacchia has been a licensed funeral director over 27 years.  He has been serving the families of Baton Rouge for over 25 of those years.

A native of New Orleans, Musacchia is a 1987 graduate of Delgado Community College at New Orleans, receiving his certificate in Allied Health/Mortuary Science.

Kenneth R. Parker

Manager Rabenhorst East

Kenneth has served as a Funeral Director and Embalmer at Rabenhorst Funeral Homes for over a decade.

Born and raised in Safford, Arizona, Kenneth came to the south to study at Delgado Community College at New Orleans and graduated in 1996 with an Associate Degree in Allied Health/Mortuary Science.

Appreciated for his understated and helpful assistance in making funeral arrangements.

Leonce “Ray” Dawson

Funeral Director / Embalmer

Leonce has served as a Funeral Director and Embalmer at Rabenhorst Funeral Homes for five years.

A native of Plaquemine, Louisiana, Leonce graduated from the University of District of Columbia at Washington D.C. with an Arts & Science degree.

Families praise his accommodating and comforting nature during challenging times.

Dedicated to serving his community, Leonce is a Mason and attends Mount Zion Baptist Church.

David Ducote

Funeral Director / Embalmer

For almost 40 years, David has been a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. A Cottonport native and resident of Brusly, Ducote graduated from McNeese State University in 1974 with an Associate Degree in Mortuary Science.

David served as President of the Southeast Louisiana Funeral Directors Association and is a current member of the National Funeral Directors Association.

Families praise his ability to help with decision-making and show loving support during a difficult time.

Dedicated to his community, David is a former District Deputy and current member of the St. John the Baptist Knights of Columbus, Council #10744 and Secretary of the Baton Rouge Amateur Radio Club, holding license K5DFD.

Vonn Folse

Funeral Director / Embalmer

A resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Houma, LA, Vonn has been a funeral director/embalmer for over 10 years. He is a 2004 graduate of Delgado Community College where he received an Associate’s Degree in Funeral Service. He also earned a Bachelor of Health Science degree from the University of Missouri. After working out of state, Vonn has recently returned home to Louisiana to serve the families in the Baton Rouge area.

Robert B. Jones

Funeral Director / Embalmer

Robert serves as a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer at Rabenhorst Funeral Homes.

A native of Brookhaven, Mississippi, Jones graduated from Commonwealth College of Science in Houston, Texas in 1979.

With over 33 years of experience in funeral service, families praise his exceptional attention to detail and dedication caring professionalism.

Steven H. Lopez

Funeral Director / Embalmer

Steven H. Lopez began his employment at Rabenhorst in 2006 after serving at another funeral home for a year and is a native of Lake Charles, LA.

Lopez received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mortuary Science from Gannon University in Erie, PA and also received a Funeral Services Arts and Sciences Associate Degree in Specialized Technology from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in Pittsburgh, PA and has been a licensed cosmetologist in Louisiana since 1996.

Lopez is a member of Mu Sigma Alpha Honorary Society.

Steven A. Newman

Funeral Director / Embalmer

Steven became a Funeral Director in 1986 upon graduation from Delgado Mortuary College in New Orleans. He moved to Baton Rouge in 1987, and began serving at Rabenhorst Funeral Home in 1999. Families praise him for his attentiveness and professionalism. Dedicated to his community, Steven is past President of the East Baton Rouge Lion’s Club, St. James Masonic Lodge #47 F&AM, and Broadmoor Baptist Church.

Tina Lavergne Ramirez

Funeral Director / Embalmer

Tina LaVergne Ramirez has been a Licensed Funeral Director for 20 years and an employee of Rabenhorst Funeral Home for over six years. A native of Opelousas, Louisiana, Ramirez graduated from the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Services at Houston, Texas in 1995, receiving an Associate Degree in Allied Health/Mortuary Science.

Peter J. Rosson

Funeral Director / Embalmer

Peter has served as a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer at Rabenhorst Funeral Homes for a quarter century.

A Louisiana native, he graduated from Delgado Community College at New Orleans with an Associate Degree in Allied Health/Mortuary Science over 30 years ago.
